This is a happy week of cards. Nearly every card after Wednesday represents abundance and who doesn’t want more of that? Remember though that abundance doesn't always equal more money. It can, certainly, but abundance just means more and that could mean more love, opportunity, attention, freedom. What you can be sure is that these cards represent positive abundance and that’s just the best of summer in a nutshell.
The first of the week is pretty positive too but Wednesday brought up Poetry which is the card that reminds you to watch your words. We often think of words as harmless or we play it off as a joke when we say something hurtful and only realize the cruelty after. This card is your chance to check in with what you give voice to. To understand that words can cause irreparable harm whether you’re directing those words to someone else or to yourself. Just remember that kindness is never wrong.

So far, this month’s card draws have really dug in and wanted you to work on your confidence. Leo is no different. In fact, Leo is the zodiac’s most confident sign. This sign demands respect and isn’t content to be quiet or play the role of doormat. Leo’s teach us how to speak up for ourselves and to follow our passions. This card appears today to guide you to live from the heart. To do so, you are being asked to contemplate what matters most for you. Not just what you want or need, but what’s the thing you truly care about? Even if it's irrational or silly or improbable. When Leo is at her best the words “I can’t” simply do not exist. Not only can she, but she will absolutely knock it out of the park just to prove the naysayers wrong. That’s true confidence. Does she always know what she’s doing? Absolutely not. But she knows she can learn, adapt, evolve or rise to the occasion and you can too. So borrow Leo’s energy today: figure out what matters most to you and then, figure out what you need to attain it.

→ Flower Bouquet
You’re in need of a break today darling. You need to slow right on down and smell those roses. Receiving this card is a sign that you’ve been pushing way too hard lately. You’ve allowed stress, pressure, anxiety or problems to steal your peace and it's really catching up to you. You don’t need to move to the countryside and raise chickens or book a one month vacation in a foreign country. But what you can do is sleep in or go to bed early. Eat that piece of pie or drive like you have nowhere to go. Put on the big hoodie blanket and veg out on the couch or just watch a feel good movie you haven’t seen in a while. You don’t have to splurge or go all out, you just have to find something to check out for a while. Mindless tv is great, so is ignoring calls for a while. And if all you have is 20 minutes then that’s what you got. But give yourself that full 20 minutes because you absolutely need it today.

→ Poetry
A comment might seem meaningless to you or even funny and good natured but be mindful about how cruel words can be. Calling someone fat, plain, boring or slow can severely harm someone in ways you may never realize. Others have to carry your comments with them. You may forget after a few moments but you never know how one comment might stay with someone for years. Poetry appears to remind you that the words you speak matter. Not just to others but to yourself too. There is such a thing as self-bullying. Every time you make a mistake and think “ugh, I’m so stupid” or look in the mirror and ask “why are you so fat?,” you’re bullying yourself, same as if you said it to someone else. Reread that sentence and think about how many times you’ve said similar things over the years. Now add that up. Have you put yourself down dozens, hundreds or even thousands of times? No wonder you believe the words you say to yourself; you’ve said it so many times, how could you not? Never diminish the quality of your words. You’re speaking your story into existence with each and every word you say.

This is a wonderfully cheerful card. It represents a happy home or a “happily ever after.” That’s not to say that because you received this card, suddenly all of your problems will disappear because they won’t. But, this is a sign that today will be a good day and perhaps even something will click into place in a relationship for some of you. Today might be the day where a commitment is established or you’re reminded of how much you love someone. Today might be the day you feel support deep in your bones or when you look around your house and realize you genuinely love where you live. The point is to let today be a happy day. Don’t look for things to go wrong or for something to be amiss. Just enjoy whatever version of happy finds you.

Harvest basket has arrived to tell you that you can have more. You can be more and you can do more. Look around and ask yourself if you honestly feel like you have enough? Maybe you don’t want to be an employee for the next twenty years? Maybe you don’t want to be independent and wish you had a partner? Maybe you just want to move to St. Tropez and live a slow and simple life. Having more doesn’t necessarily mean buying a million dollar home or being some high powered CEO. More can mean different. Whatever more means for you, know that this card found you today to let you know it's possible. Go ahead and entertain yourself with what you can still achieve. Let your mind run wild today, even if you have no idea how you’ll get there. You may not have done something wild in a while but perhaps today is a good time to start.

This card represents abundance and what a beautiful card to receive as we begin to close out the month. Never is the earth more abundant than during summer. This is the time of the year when we can see the richness all around us from an abundance of leaves to sunshine to fruits and veg to laughter in the air. You do not need wealth to understand prosperity. You can be wealthy in spirit or time, freedom or joy. We try so hard to manifest financial abundance which could come so much more easily when we stop focusing on just one path to prosperity. Your job is to feel abundant so that you can attract it but remember that you don’t have to have a lot of money to feel rich. Take today to look around and make it a point to find abundance, specifically in something besides money.

This card represents good fortune and a positive change in your circumstances. On the surface, it might seem like a card of good luck but luck doesn’t have much to do with it. Good fortune finds you when you’re willing to do the work. When you show up for yourself and do what’s required to heal, grow or evolve. That means you aren’t making excuses or coming up with reasons why you “can’t.” The most important thing to remember when receiving this card is that nothing is going to drop in your lap. You want to receive good fortune, well, stop expecting a miracle and instead, start reminding yourself everyday that anything is possible when you work hard enough for it. They say luck is preparation meeting opportunity so start preparing yourself for greatness and you will start to see a much bigger harvest.
