Floral Summer Cooler
Rose and hibiscus are both associated with love and peace, promoting a sense of ease and emotional balance. Lemon is great for opening the spirit and for gently cleansing things that are holding you down. August tends to be a really hot month and honestly well suited for slower living. A refreshing drink like this one is perfect for a hot summer day when all you want to do is lay around.
1 tbsp. Dried hibiscus flowers
1 -2 tbsp. Rose water (food-grade)
Honey or agave syrup, to taste
Fresh lemon juice
Water
Instructions:
Steep hibiscus flowers in 8 oz hot water, then strain and cool. Add rose water and honey or agave syrup, and a splash of lemon juice. Serve chilled or over ice. If you have a Ninja Creami Deluxe, I highly recommend making this and using the slushie setting. Its super bright and refreshing.
