To reach out to the spirit realm for your deepest questions. To declare you are all powerful and to actually believe it. This is the time when you can set an intention for greatness and it will most likely come true. This is a truly powerful season to believe in your magic. So ask for what you want boldly. Don’t be afraid to state your desires clearly to the universe and to believe they will come true.

Spiritual work isn’t glamorous. It isn’t just an aesthetic or pretty words you say to sound more profound. And it requires a whole lot of courage. To be able to look into the darkness and have it look back is not for the faint of heart. But that is what you sign up for when you embrace a spiritual path. Darkness feels scary because we’ve been taught for hundreds of years that what we don’t understand is something to be feared. Things we can’t neatly label are destructive to the status quo. They force us to leave our comfort zone. They require us to shed destructive heirlooms we’ve come to know as our identity. And breaking the illusion is never easy, especially when our relationship with delusion is so deeply enmeshed in society. This card appears today because you aren’t delusional or ignorant to the task of what it means to truly be in alignment with your spirit. But, you aren’t acting on your guidance either. It’s time to stop saying you’re doing the work and actually do it. To listen to what is truly being offered and not just expect the answer you want to hear. To align with what actually feels good and right without watering it down to fit what you believe is acceptable or easier. That’s a tall order but you can handle it. The question now is, will you?

This card, at its root, is about reconnecting to the earth. About coming into relationship with the planet that supports us. To eat foods that nourish the body and to feel the vitality of the earth moving through you. To connect with the outdoors. To breathe in deep and let the fragrance of the air wash over you. To watch the clouds go by for more than a second. To experience the miracle that is living on planet earth. Think about that for a second. Trillions of micro and macro events had to happen to make it possible over billions of years for you to be here. And yet, humans move through life like our very existence is anything other than a completely improbable miracle. Let that clarity wash over you and spend time grounding yourself. Spend time remembering that you’re connected to something much bigger than just surviving the day. Experience your body in its fullness and enjoy the feeling of being human.

Let yourself blur the lines between light and dark today. Dark doesn’t have to mean bad. Taboo doesn’t have to mean shameful. There are plenty of majestic creatures that thrive in the night and you my darling, can be one of them.

→Spider
Spider has crawled into your point of view today to hopefully prevent you from experiencing the day through force and aggression. You don’t have to push so hard. You don’t have to try so hard to make your dreams come to life. Taking action and forcing action are completely different energies. You need to take action when you’re afraid to pick up the phone, enroll in a class or share a project you’ve been working on. Things like that are pushing you out of your comfort zone so that you can grow. Force however is pulling 100 tarot cards trying to figure out your life purpose or badgering someone to agree to what you want. Spider reminds you to wait for what is meant for you instead of using all of your energy trying to force things to happen the way you want. What is meant for you can never escape so there’s no need to worry about catching it.

→ Healer
It's time for you to become your own healer darling. When I wrote this card, I was still very much in the mindset that everyone needs a guru but now, I have come to view self-led healing as an incredibly valuable tool. Mostly because no one person can heal you without your participation. No one can come along and change your emotions or stop you from being triggered or defeat your shadows. You have to be willing to face your own trauma and to overcome it. People can help you but only to the extent that you are willing to help yourself. And that starts with realizing you have within you today, the ability to be your own healer. Sure you might need help along the way and you’re going to stumble at times, but believing in yourself is truly half the battle.

→ The Underworld
The Underworld indicates a time of transition. You’re no longer who you were but you haven’t truly become something new either. This is a liminal space where you’re still trying to navigate what a “new you” actually means and if it is indeed, something you truly want. This space can feel scary just for the simple fact that so much is unknown. There’s so much more to learn and understand before a true sense of grounding can occur. But this can also be a powerful time of discovery. A chance to be intentional and to curate rather than accept whatever comes your way. You always have a chance to say “no, not this path.” It often doesn’t feel that way. It can seem as though your life is a game of fate or that circumstances are truly beyond your control. Don’t mistake SOME circumstances for all. SOME things are truly beyond your control but many things are not. But when we rush through the transition, we miss the things we CAN do and WANT to do. Don’t miss this chance. Be present as you move from one space to another.
