Protection has been a huge theme, at least in my life this month as it keeps coming up. For today, I sense there’s a general need for protection. It's not that anyone wishes you harm exactly but there are people around you who are unintentionally causing you distress. For example a friend who doesn’t see how their actions affect others. They probably don’t realize it themselves so there’s really no blame, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t protect yourself and your well-being. Or it could be that world events are taking their toll and I mean, who isn’t affected by global affairs these days? You may need to shield yourself from the general negative energy in the air. Receiving a card about protection isn’t always a sign someone is out to get you. Sometimes we all just need to protect ourselves from the energy of life and today seems like one of those days.

→ Third Harvest
Your soul draws this card to you when it wants you to stop putting yourself down. Stop looking at your mistakes, things you missed out on, qualities you lack, or what isn’t working. Instead, look at what you have done even if it's just a few things. Even if all you can celebrate is making it through another shit storm of a day, then pat yourself on the back for having the strength to do that. Putting yourself down is doing you no favors. I repeat, PUTTING YOURSELF DOWN IS DO YOU NO FAVORS. It does, however, convince you that all hope is lost and that isn’t true at all. You aren’t going to change your life overnight no matter how much any guru, including myself, tells you that you can take control of your life today. But you can change overtime and it starts by deciding you aren’t going to bully yourself anymore. You aren’t going to be the one to say mean things about you. You won’t be the one to crush your own dreams. You won’t be the one who doesn’t believe in yourself. Being able to talk yourself up is better than any spell, morning routine, ritual or spiritual tool. I hope today is the day you decide you’re going to lift yourself up instead of tearing yourself down.

Seduction can be a powerful thing—in the right circumstances. But it can also be a form of manipulation. This card is a warning about temptation and the consequences of choosing the lustful option. It’s not unlike the Devil card. It can be so tempting to have that extra cookie, to drunk text your ex or to give into the need to bite the hand that feeds you. And sure, you can find someone else to blame. You can say it was the circumstances and that you aren’t at fault. Or, you can take responsibility for your role. You can own the ways you give in and give up rather than choosing the healthy, more aligned choice. This card has appeared today to ask you what you’re seduced by? And more importantly, are you ready to take back your control?

The simplest message from this card is to trust the journey. To know that there are no shortcuts or quick answers. There’s no way to skip past the hard part or to make things easier than they’re supposed to be. You are where you are because that’s what you need. And perhaps you need to learn things the hard way. Perhaps you’re the kind of person that needs to be devastated before you can truly let go. Own that if that’s what it is. This card is a reminder that hardship is also a lesson. Hard won for sure but there are truths this lesson will offer you that will help you later on. The trick is stop avoiding them and be present for the good and the bad. To show up for your own life because you don’t get another one. This is what you have so make the most of it, even when shit feels hard and especially when things are going well. Life is a rollercoaster for you, for me, for everyone. Find the way to make the best out of the life you have and in doing so, you will find the life you’re supposed to have.

Don’t be afraid to state your desires clearly to the universe and to believe they will come true.

Trillions of micro and macro events had to happen to make it possible over billions of years for you to be here.
