TODAY is the day to take action. Good things really do come to those that wait. Now it's time to push forward with your plans or opinions. Today is the day to speak up, ask for what you want, or take a big risk. You can only imagine things for so long. You can only make so many lists or do so much research. At some point, you have to do something with all of your preparation. Otherwise, you’re preparing for absolutely nothing which means a big fat waste of time. Doing something in theory is great but you’ll never fully understand anything until you have the experience of actually doing it. So go ahead, make the call, send the email, enroll in the class, ask them out, ask for a raise. Do whatever you have to do to get some forward movement.

What are your interests? What do you care about? What does your mind drift to when you daydream? These are the types of questions to answer when you receive pomegranate. Your desires are not accidents or flights of fancy. What they are is information telling you what your soul needs to be fulfilled. But when you dismiss what you feel, you find yourself in a sea of confusion and doubt. You don’t need anyone to tell you what you want to do with your life. You don’t need anything to show you the path. What you need is trust in yourself. You need to stop denying what you love. Go where your heart tells you today. Just let yourself entertain the thought of that crazy idea. Does it light you up? Then think about it more. Are you getting more excited? Then perhaps you need to pull this string. And maybe you won’t become an actor or move to the countryside but that doesn’t mean that idea can’t be a stepping stone to something else. But you’ll never find out unless you follow the breadcrumb.

Root vegetables guide you to dig deep and to reflect on how you’ve nourished yourself up to this point. You may have spent too much time relying on the convenient option but is the easy, safe or comfortable way really supporting your growth? You need something more unique and more in-depth. It will require more work than you’re used to but it will also give you more results than you’ve had. Additionally, this card means a need to start relying on yourself instead of waiting for someone else to step in or to take over the hard tasks. You are capable, much more than you give yourself credit for. You don’t need a partner or someone to hold your hand. You just have to believe in yourself.

It's very rare that a challenge in a relationship, be it with a friend, a lover, a partner or a co-worker, is one sided. You may need to consider the part you’ve played in your connections. Perhaps you have alienated yourself by telling half truths or trying to manipulate others for your personal gain. Or maybe you just didn’t show up the way you said you would or perhaps you haven’t shown up at all, and the people in your life are tired of it. It may be too late to mend fences but you can forgive yourself and move on with the promise to do better moving forward. But you’ll never know unless you take responsibility for your part and try to make amends.

What are your values and beliefs? What things are you not willing to compromise? I find a lot of people do not have a solid concept of their belief system. There are things that are socio-normative like treating others the way you want to be treated or saying please, thank you and excuse me. But what are the things that you actually live by? For some, you may sit and think about it and realize you want to live a life of beauty or creativity. For others, well-being might be your motivation or living from a place of love. For others still, education might drive you or reaching a certain level of status. And it doesn’t matter if your values don’t fit neatly into other’s ideas. If you want to be successful and ambitious, that is your right babe. If you want to be a homemaker, who cares what other people think. Fulfillment doesn’t come by living to other’s standards. It’s about listening to what’s important to you and making a plan to achieve it.

Today is an excellent day for a gathering or for building connections. Someone could be very helpful to you today. Stay open minded to working with others or reaching out to someone who can help you to solve a problem. Receiving coven is also a good sign for meeting someone new. If you do meet someone today, make the effort to connect with them and continue the relationship. Don’t leave another meeting up to chance. Be firm in your desire to get to know them. This will go a long way in making them feel desired and building trust. Try not to get stuck in the idea that who you’ve been friends with up until now are the only people you should have in your life. A coven will grow and change with time. Don’t miss the chance to connect with someone who is more like who you’re becoming and less like who you were.

This card is a challenge, encouraging you to be very honest with yourself and to take responsibility for what is and what is not working for you. It's time to truly assess how much effort you’re giving to your goals. You should have clarity now, thanks to the summer, to answer these questions honestly. Are you chasing dreams or distracting yourself with something you don’t really care about? Can you truly see yourself doing this for years or is this something that’s nice for now but you know it will run its course? And if so, why aren’t you going after the big dreams? What’s stopping you? Remember that you can only harvest what you plant. Don’t plant a bush and expect to find a tree.
