9 Tarot + Oracle Decks That Channel the Energy of Lammas

Lammas, also known as Lughnasadh or the first harvest, is a time of golden fullness. The sun shines bright, but the coming of autumn stirs beneath the surface. It’s the moment where gratitude meets discernment—where we pause to gather the fruits of our labor while subtly preparing to release what no longer needs tending.

This seasonal threshold calls for a specific kind of tool—one that helps you tune into both your success and what’s rotting away.

The decks below are ones I intuitively associate with Lammas. Some have been longtime companions. Others are newer to my shelf but hum with the same seasonal frequency: earthy, radiant, a little reflective, and deeply connected to the rhythm of the land.

If you’re building your altar, curating your stack, or looking for guidance as the Wheel turns, here are 9 decks that feel like Lammas to me:

Seasons of the Witch: Lammas Oracle

It’s the obvious first pick—but for good reason. I created it specifically for this sabbat, so the Lammas Oracle speaks in the language of harvest and gratitude. It’s an ode to the sacredness of effort, and the magic of knowing when to reap, when to rest, and when to trust in the unseen seeds you’ve sown.

W.I.T.C.H. (Woman In Total Control of Herself) Oracle

Lammas corresponds with Leo season—a time of boldness, visibility, and unapologetic self-expression. That’s exactly why this deck feels so aligned. The W.I.T.C.H. Oracle doesn’t just affirm your power; it dares you to embody it fully. Angi’s cards are sharp, clever, and unflinchingly honest. Every draw is a mirror—sometimes gentle, sometimes confrontational, always empowering. It’s the perfect deck for working through blocks around self-worth, reclaiming your light, and reminding yourself that shining isn’t selfish—it’s sacred.

Bee Tarot

At first, I considered saving this deck for Beltane—after all, the bee is a central motif in the Seasons of the Witch: Beltane Oracle and a sacred symbol of fertility and sensuality. But the more I sat with it, the more Bee Tarot revealed itself as a Lammas deck through and through. Late summer is the height of the hive’s activity: flowers are still abundant, but there's a hum of urgency in the air as preparations for the darker half of the year begin. Bees—and this deck—carry that energy beautifully. It’s buzzing, focused, productive, and rich with natural rhythm. A perfect companion for checking in with what you’re building and how you’re contributing to the collective harvest.

Earth Woman Tarot

This deck feels like it was made for the first harvest. Saturated with color and spirit, Earth Woman Tarot overflows with the lushness of late summer—the ripeness, the heat, the undeniable beauty of a season in full bloom. While it could easily carry into Mabon with its earthy roots and sacred feminine tone, there’s something about the vibrancy of this deck that screams Lammas. It celebrates the sensuality of effort, the richness of creation, and the pleasure of seeing your work take form. For me, it’s a visual invocation of abundance—and a reminder that joy can be its own kind of harvest.

Unbridled Spirit Tarot

If Lammas had a spirit animal, it might just be the horse. Unbridled Spirit Tarot captures the freedom, vitality, and raw momentum of late summer with a powerful sense of movement. Horses symbolize travel, strength, and wild-hearted independence—all qualities that echo this season’s restless, expansive energy. This deck feels most alive between Lammas and Mabon, when the Wheel is still turning under the golden sun, but a quiet shift is beginning to stir. It’s a gorgeous choice for readings about direction, autonomy, and the path you're carving as you gallop toward the next chapter.

Horse Wisdom Oracle

With golden tones woven throughout and wheat adorning the backs of the cards, Horse Wisdom Oracle feels visually and energetically attuned to Lammas. There’s a warmth to this deck—a hazy, sun-drenched glow that mirrors the look and feel of August afternoons. It would be easy to use it for Mabon but, its golden light and harvest imagery make it especially resonant for the first harvest. Like Lammas itself, this deck reminds us that strength and softness can coexist, and that wisdom often comes through embodiment, instinct, and seasonal presence.

Solar Kingdom Tarot

This one practically claimed Lammas for itself. Ruled by the sun and steeped in Leo fire, Solar Kingdom Tarot radiates pure solar power. Of all the sabbats, Lammas is the most sun-soaked—occurring at the height of summer, when the days still burn bright but the light begins to subtly shift. This deck captures that precise moment: bold, golden, and self-assured, but with a touch of gravity beneath the glow. It’s a stunning companion for stepping into visibility, honoring your inner light, and asking how you're letting your radiance lead the way.

Old Style Tarot

There’s something unmistakably sunlit about this deck. While its aesthetic leans traditional, Old Style Tarot radiates the warmth and optimism of late July and early August—just like Lammas. Its energy reminded me instantly of the Seasons of the Witch: Lammas Oracle—not in style, but in spirit. Both decks carry a bright resilience: even the heavier cards feel infused with hope, clarity, and golden perspective. This is a deck you can settle into for a long time, especially during high summer when the sun is high and the heart is open.

Nova Witch Tarot

This might seem like a wildcard, but Nova Witch Tarot holds a kind of shadowed summer magic that makes it feel right at home during Lammas. While we often associate shadow work with autumn, it’s summer—the season of intense light—that casts the longest shadows. This deck leans into that contrast. With cool blue tones, foggy beach-night vibes, and archetypes like the Queen of Wands and High Priestess depicted with a certain dusky elegance, it reflects the mysterious undercurrent of high summer. Think late evenings, inner tides, and that feeling when brightness begins to reveal what’s been hidden beneath the surface.

The decks you work with matter—not just aesthetically, but energetically. When we align our spiritual tools with the seasons, we open the door to deeper embodiment and more meaningful insight. Lammas invites us to see what’s here now, to appreciate what we’ve built, and to gently loosen our grip where necessary.

These decks can guide you in that. Each one speaks the language of late summer in its own way. I hope one (or more) calls to you.
